Viber 10 brings new UI along with new features
Viber was once a popular platform for exchanging messages, audio, files, and making calls. The popularity of the application faded with time, and that was due to lack of innovation. Today, the company releases a fresh version of this app on Android and iOS. Version 10 of the application or the 10th-anniversary update brings notable changes to the platform. The most noticeable differences come to the UI.
The all-white UI on the platform is a welcoming change, but it still has some hues of purple accents. A unified chat list will feature in this app, and it will contain all private, group, and community chats. With that said, one no longer needs to navigate through different screens. The app feels identical to the social media platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram.
Additionally, there exists a new Calls screen, that lists all your calls. The Viber Out balance and subscription now pins at the top of the screen.
To innovate the application, Viber delivers a unique feature. Now, one can chat with people without revealing their numbers. The community tab will allow you to message other people without revealing contact number of one another. The feature is known to be Hidden-number Chats feature.
The all-new Viber is a reliable replacement for WhatsApp. Even more, the company is promising to bring group calling soon. Well, it will allow group chats with five people in it.
