Xiaomi broadcasted a video on Weibo – Chinese social networking website in order to show the performance of Redmi 7 battery. In this test, the smartphone lasted for 435 hours or 18 days and 3 hours. This handset is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery and I don’t take its performance as a surprise as previous series of Redmi handsets also offered very good battery backup.

Talking about Redmi 7 specifications, the handset is built around a 6.26 inches HD+ display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3, 84% NTSC color gamut, 2.5D curved glass, and 720×1520 pixels of resolution. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s 632 SoC which packs an octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz of clocked processing speed. It is coupled with Adreno 506 graphics processing unit.
Talking more about Redmi 7 specifications, the smartphone comes in three variants: 2 GB RAM with 16 GB ROM, 3 GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB ROM. Talking about the imaging department, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup comprised of 12 MP (with f/2.2 lens aperture, 1.12um pixel size, and LED flash) and 2 MP sensors. The handset also comes with an 8 megapixels front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling.
